Secrets to Fast-tracking your Application Rationalisation using Enterprise Anatomy Framework"
Application Rationalisation is one of the most common initiatives undertaken by Enterprises as an IT Strategy. Enterprises during their lifetime often find themselves with a multitude of Business and Technology Applications cluttering their landscape.

This could be due to including Mergers & Acquisitions, a very reactive IT function that was driven by Business Users who wanted their preferred Apps, a long history of bespoke Application development that has resulted in legacy technologies but with all the key Business Rules embedded within etc., etc.,

In this webinar, we are going to see how  “Enterprise Anatomy” Framework and Methodology brings new thinking to this age-old problem. Traditional approaches everywhere have seen the usage of Spreadsheets,  User Questionnaires and Powerpoint Diagrams etc., as a one-off effort that will be thrown away at the end of the Program.

We will see that by creating a structure for Enterprise Strategies, Processes, Systems and Technology, solution is vastly improved and at the same time the Enterprise is provided with an asset that can be re-used for other initiatives such as Disaster Recovery Planning, Business Process Improvement, Performance Management, Cyber Security etc.,
Key Takeaways
  • Enterprise Anatomy approach over traditional methods
  • ICMG’s Application Rationalisation Methodology
  •   The relationship between Enterprise Architecture and App Rationalisation
  • How to create a structure for Enterprise Strategies, Processes, Systems and Technology
  • How to create the asset that can be re-used for other initiatives such as Disaster Recovery Planning, Business Process Improvement, Cybersecurity etc.

What Should You Do For Fast implement new Demand forecasting process seamlessly using Enterprise Anatomy? Find Out Now, Free!
In the Utility Sector, almost all executives deal with the most common problem of accurate demand forecasting.  Here we are focusing on Power sector Utility. They make every attempt to improve the Demand forecasting so that they can improve customer satisfaction by avoiding shortages and also improve profitability by reducing costly purchases or selling excess power availability.
As we know, power demand depends upon various factors like region, season, temperature, rainfall, Week-day or weekend, festival and so on. All these factors lead to a non-linear relationship with power demand.

Nowadays, a lot of software packages are available in the market for forecasting based on the historical pattern.  The easiest approach is to select the appropriate package and replace legacy forecasting system with the new SW package. Implementation of such packages looks very easy, but it is a major business process change. Unless proper analysis is done from all aspects of transformation, these process changes do not yield the expected results in time.
Enterprise anatomy helps us to do a structured analysis of the proposed solution. Enterprise anatomy visualizes transformation across all stakeholder groups like Executives, Business heads, System Architects, Technical architects.  The analysis addresses 6 factors –Why, Who, What, When, where and How for each stakeholder. It helps to identify the Gaps early-on. Hence no surprises during project execution.

In this webinar, we are going through how legacy manual demand forecasting process is replaced by package based automated forecasting process using Enterprise anatomy model. Using this example, we will also understand the transformation of enterprise objectives and Business processes across Executives, Business heads, System and Technology level stakeholders using Enterprise Anatomy framework. (These are termed as Transformation of “WHY” and “HOW” factor across the enterprise in Enterprise Anatomy approach.)
Key Takeaways
  •  SW package implementation is not just a replacement of the legacy system, but it is Business process change impacting various stakeholders in the enterprise.
  • Use of structured Enterprise anatomy approach for diagnosis/analysis reveals the gap in the solution early on

  • Enterprise anatomy enables complete traceability of linkages between the Technical solution to systems, systems to the Business processes and Business process to Strategy goals of the organization
